Yahoo recently launched Yahoo Research, which will be responsible for developing and pushing research-led products into the market. Yoelle Maarek, who earned her PhD at Technion in Computer Science, is Vice President of this initiative. Illustrious alumna Dr. Maarek (r) gave a presentation to the French Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs, Emmanuel Macron, during his visit to Technion in September.
